Our summer vacation has officially begun!! My last day at work was Tuesday whoo! To all the people who scorn teachers getting a whole summer off, we absolutely deserve it. This was my first year teaching and I could have never imagined how many hours go into educating 70 minds every day. I have been thinking about posting a reflection of this year, so keep an eye out for that.

523 lb blue marlin at the big rock tournament :-(Next up on our summer list is to continue searching for houses for the next school year (not much luck so far, but our fingers are crossed), and prepare for our big, month long trip to New York in July!

I'm so glad to know you got to the beach today! The blanket looked good on the sand, too. Keep Ike in sunscreen, please!! (and yourself, too!)
